PIERO MIOLI: TWENTIETH-CENTURY ITALIAN OPERA \n Whatever one might believe or say, opera is in excellent health, both in Italy and abroad. Nineteenth-century repertoire fills seasons around the world, while twentieth-century composers still have to contend with a less than enthusiastic audience. In other words, with Puccini's Turandot (which was also released posthumously), that's enough; it's over, the composers are too many and heterogeneous. \nNot at all, because almost a century has passed since 1926, and the vast accumulation of material mourns, or perhaps, better, demands broad, comprehensive, truly or simply historiographical consideration. This book attempts to console and honor it, introducing, framing, dividing, and summarizing the hundred years; and while it suspends them between aesthetics and current events, but also between records and books, it traces them with many names and surnames, titles and characters, composers and librettists, conductors and orchestras, directors and set designers, critics and singers. Too many? The twentieth century may be short for certain well-known reasons, but given the quantity of its products and testimonies of art and music, it is long, very long, inevitably finite, yet rendered almost infinite by young musicians who emerged toward its end and are well-positioned to work and produce in the 21st century. \n \nPage 780 \n \n \n The Publisher does not sell directly to the public. Great purchase!
My child is 14 months and has been on the move for a long time, these shoes are so great, he moves great in them and never has a problem wearing them!
They are slightly narrow so the strap doesn’t go all the way, but has never come undone!

Worth every penny
My son’s favorite shoes! High quality, very durable, look nice even when they aren’t freshly cleaned. Easy to take on and off. Definitely worth the money! This color tends to go with everything. Such great support.

Nice looking shoes, Saucony is always very durable for my child and myself. Very comfortable and fit perfectly. Great for just hanging out or running.

Love this style
This is a great playground shoe for my 4th grader.
I love the unisex design.
These shoes usually last 6 mo - until we need next size- but aren’t in same spotless shape that Keens are for passing down to next sibling. Still, they are far from bad shape after six months of abuse. Way better than UA or Nikes in our experience.
I had adult version and had heavy rotation with other shoes, and still lasted 5 years before I gave to my growing son, and he trashed them in 6 mo wearing as lawn mowing shoes.
As an adult, I add an arch support or metatarsal support insole. My kid hasn’t indicated it needs one for comfort - but it’s not as cushy at all compared to Saucony running shoes.
