By day, they provide a colorful contrast to the surface they are installed in and, by night, glow in the dark to seem as though they are floating. Made proudly in the USA!

How to keep your mosaics bright

Glow in the dark mosaics are NOT electric and NOT solar-powered. Each mosaic tile is powered by phosphorescent (glow) particles that charge by light shining on them. With no light to charge the mosaic(s), they slowly lose their brightness over up to 12 hours. To charge your mosaics to 100%, shine a UV light on your mosaic(s), and they will return to 100% brightness within 30 seconds. For the best effect, consider installing NUVO-Glo UV Lighting in your pool to keep your mosaics at 100% brightness at all times. Please contact a customer success representative to learn more about our exclusive UV lighting system.

My son has worn a smaller version of this watch for a few years. After trying a different brand lately, which broke way too easily, I found this one on Amazon listed as "Used - Very Good" condition. It can be worn in the shower without issue, I have not tried a swimming pool, though. It feels tough and durable, as my son's has proven to be. Still 5 stars. *** Update 2: a year-and-a-half of wearing, and it is performing really well! All the buttons and words on the watch are still in very good shape and easy to read. I wear this every single day. I don't put it through the wringer every day. But, I did spend a full week sailing and snorkeling last summer in salt water with hours each day in the water. It still looks and works the same as the day I bought it.
